The RSC’s acclaimed production of Hilary Mantell’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel about Thomas Cromwell’s rise to power transfers to the West End.
Adapted by Mike Poulton, Wolf Hall is set in the court of Henry VIII and charts Cromwell’s story from blacksmith’s boy to Henry VIII’s right hand man.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, Ben Miles reprises his role as Cromwell alongside Nathaniel Parker as Henry VIII, Lydia Leonard as Anne Boleyn, Paul Jesson as Cardinal Wolsey and Lucy Briers as Katherine of Aragon.
The production runs alongside its sequel Bring Up The Bodies, which tells of the bloody theatre of Anne Boleyn’s final days.
