Audiences get a chance to test drive the Bush theatre’s new home in Where’s My Seat?, an evening of three short plays.
During the course of Where’s My Seat, three plays by three different Bush playwrights are performed in three different layouts. Each play is inspired by a set of challenging stage direction provided by one of three theatre luminaries; playwright Alan Ayckbourn, outgoing Donmar Warehouse Artistic Director Michael Grandage; and his successor, the outgoing Bush Artistic Director Josie Rourke. Each play will also have to contend with a selection of curious props chosen by the National Theatre.
As the stage is transformed and the seats realigned as part of Where’s My Seat, the audience will be asked from their feedback from the stalls and invited to explore all areas of the new venue, from the bathrooms to the bar.
Please note: Where’s My Seat is performed in the Bush theatre’s new venue, the Old Shepherd’s Bush Library.
