Following its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013, Titus brings its tale about a child on the edge to the Tricycle Theatre.
A drama about telling big lies and small truths, about pigs that fall in love and crows that talk, about running away and finding yourself, Titus tells the story of a 10-year-old boy on the roof of his school as he’s confronted with a situation that seems hopeless. He can either give up or fight.
Originally written by Belgian writer Jan Sobrie, the play was awarded the Dutch-German Author Prize in 2007 and is one of Europe’s most successful plays for young people. This new English version is written by Oliver Emanuel and directed by Lu Kemp.
The show is suitable for children aged 10 and older.
