The Rose Theatre, in association with Kingston University, presents Noël Coward’s, The Vortex.

First performed in 1924, the play was described as ‘un peu shocking’, however proved to be one of Cowards first great commercial successes. Today still, the story of the tense relationship between the decadent, drug addicted Nicky Lancaster and his flamboyant mother packs an extraordinary punch.

Stephen Unwin’s fresh and radical production features the award-winning film actress Kerry Fox and the much-loved comic actor James Dreyfus, as well as David Dawson, one of our most brilliant young stars.
