Lyndsey Turner returns to the Royal Court theatre to direct Will Adamsdale’s new show The Victorian In The Wall.
Featuring songs about knock-throughs and recycling, The Victorian In The Wall tells the surreal and fantastical story of a work-shy writer who discovers a Victorian man living in the wall of his flat.
Best known for directing hit Royal Court production Posh, Turner’s credits at the Sloane Square venue also include Our Private Life, A Miracle and Contractions, as well as Philadelphia, Here I Come! at the Donmar Warehouse and There Is A War at the National Theatre.
Adamsdale, who co-directs the production with Turner, won the Perrier Award for Comedy in 2004 for Jackson’s Way.
