An iconic piece of children’s literature, The Very Hungry Caterpillar wiggles its way into the West End this Christmas for a limited season.
Brought to life through a majestic menagerie of 75 magnificent puppets, four of Eric Carle’s best loved books – The Artist Who Painted A Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and the titular The Very Hungry Caterpillar – are adapted by Jonathan Rockefeller into a magical 60-minute show resplendent with colour.
Following huge success around the world including a Drama Desk nomination and the smashing of box office records in New York, the show arrives at the Ambassadors Theatre for five weeks as part of a UK tour, and promises to enchant and delight audiences of all ages.
There is a relaxed performance on Thursday 8 December at 11am, aimed at ages 2-7.
