Following their collaboration on Venus And Adonis in 2004 and 2007, Little Angel Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company team up once again for this shortened version of Shakespeare’s stormy tale, The Tempest.
On a magical island a powerful magician summons the elements to seek revenge against his brother. As in Shakespeare’s story, supernatural spirits lead young lovers an shipwrecked sailors on a chaotic journey around an island brought to spectacular and confusing life in this production.
Combining puppetry, live music and retaining Shakespeare’s verse, this production of The Tempest reflects Little Angel’s trademark blend of storytelling and spectacle, making it ideal for young people and their families.
The Tempest plays as part of Little Angel’s 50th birthday season.
