Mark Strong and Hope Davis lead the cast of The Red Barn, David Hare’s adaptation of detective writer Georges Simenon’s thrilling novel La Main.
Directed by Olivier Award winner Robert Icke and led by Mark and Hope, the startling new production is set in 1969 Connecticut where, on their way back from a party, two couples struggle home through the snow and storms. But not everyone will arrive back safely…
Mark will return to the National Theatre for the first time in nearly two decades, having recently scooped the Olivier Award for Best Actor as Eddie Carbone in A View From The Bridge, while Hope, perhaps best known for her role in HBO series In Treatment, will make her UK stage debut.
Audiences can expect a thrilling, riveting and gripping production.
