Full of revenge, disguise, trickery and love, Mozart’s The Marriage Of Figaro reveals a lot about the human condition. Using wit, grace and joyous musical invention, it’s one of the most-loved operas in history.
The Marriage Of Figaro is the first collaboration between Mozart and librettist Lorenzo da Ponte. The pair went on to write Don Giovanni and Così Fan Tutte.

It was revived in Prague and was even more successful, and the run led to Don Giovanni being commissioned. It’s often admired as one of Mozart’s finest works, and is performed the world over.
