A modern hymn to people and places now lost, The Bullet And The Bass Trombone tells the story of a concert orchestra trapped in a city during a military coup.
Written and performed by Timothy X Atack, the play combines an intricate, fractured narrative with a haunting soundtrack to chart the tale of the orchestra as violence erupts around them and they become separated, leaving the composer to tell the story.
Directed by Tanuja Amarasuriya, the production plays as part of The Shed’s Limited Editions season.
