Negotiating the minefield of modern technical advances, and the potential virtual permanence of mistakes in the virtual domain, six young adults find themselves living their lives through social media in new play Sket at the Park Theatre.

At an inner city school, teenagers are obsessed with 21st century technology, and the proliferation of ‘selfies’, ‘sexting’ and access to sexual imagery is a given. Living life through cellphones and laptops, however, opens up innumerable pitfalls and perils, with the real costs of such technology potentially ever-lasting.

Avoiding these dangers, along with ever-changing laws and moral dilemmas, is the focus of six young adults in this insightful new play by Maya Sondhi, exploring the volatility – and huge ramifications – of the online world.
