Sign Of The Times is a new comedy which follows two dreamers in search of success. Frank has ambitions of becoming a spy-novelist, and Alan, 30 years his junior, wants to be a rock star. Their day job is less glamorous but still demands a head for dizzying heights. Balancing 60ft up on the edge of a building, a spectacular surprise awaits… and as their adventures unfold, this unlikely pair gain a bright new understanding about life and each other.
Sign Of The Times is written by Tim Firth, the author of Calendar Girls, the hit film which he has also adapted into a stage production playing at the Noel Coward theatre. Firth is also the author of Neville’s Island, Preston Front and The Flint Street Nativity.
This production stars acclaimed stage and screen star Stephen Tompkinson, known for his roles in Brassed Off, Ballykissangel and Wild At Heart.
