Four tilers on a Belfast building site dream of better things; now they each have the chance to make those dreams come true. But they cannot all commit the same petty crime…

Socrates is played by James Nesbitt, who is best known for his television work on series including Cold Feet and Murphy’s Law. He has also starred in films including Waking Ned and Bloody Sunday, and on stage in Darwin’s Flood and Translations.

Conleth Hill returns to the role of Petesy that he played in the 2003 Manchester Royal Exchange Studio production of Shoot The Crow. Hill is a double Olivier Award winner, collecting the Best Supporting Performance in a Musical statuette for The Producers and the Best Actor Award for Stones In His Pockets.

Jim Norton, who plays Ding Dong, has appeared in many shows across the West End, including Hamlet and Playboy of the Western World (National theatre), Wild Duck (Lyric Hammersmith) and The Weir (Royal Court) for which he recieved an Olivier nomination.

Playwright Owen McCafferty has been described by The Guardian’s Michael Billington as "Belfast’s chronicler of lost illusions". His other plays include Closing Time, Scenes From The Big Picture and this year’s new version of JP Miller’s Days Of Wine And Roses.
