Scottish Ballet returns to Sadler’s Wells, after six years away, with a production of Cinderella and a mixed bill.
Artistic Director Ashley Page has reworked Cinderella, transporting the classic fairytale to an 18th Century France with a twist. Cinderella is Page’s second full-length ballet since joining Scottish Ballet from The Royal Ballet.
The triple bill combines Balanchine’s Episodes – presented in London for the first time in 40 years – with Stephen Petronio’s provocative MiddleSexGorge and Suite from Artifact, which was arranged for Scottish Ballet by William Forsythe.
