In the heady 1970s Ackerley Addaneye and his trusty ice cream van ruled the Devonshire coasts, breaking hearts from Bovey Tracey to Polperro. Thirty years later, Ackerley must face old flames, old rivals, an arthritic pelvis and a freezer containing a small, confused Mariachi player.
