Penned by award-winning playwright Catherine-Anne Toupin, Right Now treads the fine line between comedy and tragedy at the Bush Theatre, subverting anxieties to keep audiences clinging on in suspense.
Settling into their idyllic new flat, Alice and Ben become acquainted with their seemingly welcoming and accommodation neighbours from across the hall. Suggesting drinks, hors d’oeuvres and dancing, Juliette, Giles, and their son Francis soon begin to unsettle the couple, resulting in innocent invitations leading to far more unsettling matters.
Presented by the Traverse Theatre Company and directed by Associate Director Emma Callander, Right Now is a fresh, but dark-hearted, thriller.
