Stan Won’t Dance presents a new piece focussing on ideas of punishment and retribution. Taking the book of Revelations at its starting point, seven performers portray a world where angels feed on the guilt of an unassuming couple. Bodies are manipulated and aerial choreography used to create a world where punishment, pain and pleasure go hand in hand.
Stan Won’t Dance was created in 2003 by Ellie Beedham, Liam Steel and Robert Tannion to create theatre pieces which used movement, music and text.
