1491: the Moorish kingdom of Granada. Jews, Muslims and Christians live side by side, free from religious persecution. But the world as they know it is about to change.

Three children living in the shadow of the Alhambra, Granada’s mighty red fortress, flee from their homes to embark on a daring adventure and seek their independence. Caught in the midst of a holy war, they realise that what they value most are their friends. But is friendship, or even love, possible between a Muslim, a Jew and a Christian in this time of religious conflict and political unrest?
