Rambert celebrates 80 years of innovation with a programme including work from Darshan Singh Bhuller and Martin Joyce.
Bhuller, formerly the Artistic Director of Phoenix Dance Theatre, has created New Work to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of LS Lowry. The piece is inspired by Lowry’s approach to his paintings and response to his surroundings.
Divine Influence is a passionate duet created by Rambert dancer/choreographer Martin Joyce which moves from comic tension to moments of tenderness. It is set to the third movement of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.
The programme also includes two other works which have not yet been announced.
