The wedding feast is over, but while the groom’s father in busy dancing the bhangra, the groom is on the internet. In the marriage bed, the effect of his parents, and his brother’s childish tricks, mean that his virgin bride remains just that. Six weeks later, the entire family starts to panic.
Khan-Din is the playwright behind East Is East, Last Dance At Dum Dum and Notes On Falling Leaves.
Meera Syal, who stars in the production, is best known for her work on television comedies Goodness Gracious Me and The Kumars At Number 42.
