Little Angel presents a brand new version of the classic Russian tale Petrushka, with Stravinsky’s score and words by the poet John Agard.

Petrushka is a special puppet, living a life without strings, but he yearns for true freedom, beyond the control of his puppet master and in the arms of his elusive ballerina love.

Drawing on the Russian anarchic character of Petrushka and using a host of colourful puppets, Little Angel tells the story of a puppet who bends and breaks the rules.
