As part of their Musical Theatre Initiative, Stratford East are presenting concert versions of some of their homegrown musicals, as picked by Stratford East fans.
The season opens with a concert production of The Big Life, a feel-good ska musical that premiered at Stratford East in April 2004.
The show takes the story of Love Labour’s Lost and reimagines it in 1950s London. On the Windrush over from the Caribbean to England, a pact is made by a group of men not to get involved with women for three years while they better themselves, but fate has other plans!
