Merce Cunningham returns to the Barbican for the fourth time with two programmes of new work including Split Sides, How To Pass, Kick, Fall And Run and Ground Level Overlay . Cunningham combines his vast experience as a choreographer with music from Radiohead and Sigur Ros. Continuing Cunningham’s life-long preoccupation with chance, the order of the evening’s procedings will be determined by the roll of a dice. The sets for Split Sides have been designed by British artist Catherine Yass and American artist Robert Heischman.
