Sharon Small, Rachel Redford and Corey Johnson star in the UK premiere of Rebecca Gilman’s arresting and sharply witty drama at the Hampstead Theatre.

Directed by Michael Attenborough, Luna Gale charts the story of Caroline Cox, a veteran social worker who has been working in The Department of Human Services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 25 years.

She thinks she has a typical case on her hands when she encounters Peter and Karlie, yet another teenage couple with all the classic problems. But as Caroline wades deeper into their situation, she stumbles upon a life-changing revelation, making her question all she thinks is fundamental, both professionally and personally.

Small (Carmen Disruption, Almeida Theatre), Redford (Closer, Donmar Warehouse) and Johnson (Man And Superman, National Theatre) are joined in the cast by Alexander Arnold, Caroline Faber, Ed Hughes and Abigail Rose.
