Follows the saga of the March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, as they grow up in Civil War America. Cast includes Dave Willetts, Dillie Keane, and a cast of West End stars narrated by Sandi Toksvig.
The show is distinct from the Broadway musical Little Women, which has just announced its imminent closure in New York. The London show is by the British composer and lyricist Lionel Segal, whose other stage musicals include World in My Pocket and The Pied Piper. The book is by Segal and Peter Layton. Gillian Gregory (who won a Tony for Me and My Girl on Broadway) will direct, with Steven Edis as conductor and orchestrator.
