Flindt’s dramatic ballet The Lesson, based on Ionesco’s play La Leçon, follows an eager dance student, desperate to learn more. Unfortunately for her, the dance teacher has more predatory designs on his unwitting student.

Bournonville’s La Sylphide is presented in a new production by Johan Kobborg, who also plays the part of the teacher in some performances of The Lesson. The story of lost love sees James leave his bride-to-be to pursue his infatuation with the beautiful sylph. When a witch steps in, James’s dreams are shattered.
