Olivier Award nominee Caroline Horton returns to the Bush Theatre with Islands, an absurd and powerful new play about tax havens, little empires, enormous greed and the few that have it all.
Billed as an “ink black comedy with music”, Islands takes audiences on a journey into a monstrous, secretive world where it seems that no one has to pay for anything and they can meet those who feed their addiction to wealth, power and material things.
Directed by Omar Elerian, the production is a reaction to David Cameron’s claim that he has made “fighting the scourge of tax evasion and aggressive tax avoidance a priority”.
