In a dystopian vision of a city bursting at the seams, humanity is forced to act to survive a tidal wave of natural presence in Human Animals, the Royal Court debut play by Stef Smith.

Directed by Royal Court Associate Director Hamish Pirie, Human Animals is set in an overcrowded city in which nature is becoming uncontrollable.

With mice scratching between walls, diseased pigeons littering the pavements and foxes beginning to rule the streets, the contagious situation only promises to spread.

It has to be stopped, before it’s too late.
