Celebrating the lasting legacy of Shakespeare in the 400th anniversary year of his death, the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre hosts a retelling of the most famous of English triumphs in battle starring Michelle Terry in the title role.

In Shakespeare’s dramatic account of the Battle of Agincourt during the English quest to win the French crown, Henry V rises to hold the mantle of one of the greatest warrior kings in history.

Delivering his infamous “we few, we happy few, we band of brothers” rallying call to his troops, his aura inspired those around him and dictated the course of a monumental victory. Events before, during and after the battle, including attempts to woo French princess, Catherine of Valois, are explored. 

Terry is an Olivier Award-winning actor who has played wealth of Shakespearean roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare’s Globe and National Theatre. Her other numerous stage credits include Cleansed at the National Theatre, Privacy at the Donmar Warehouse, Before The Party at the Almeida and Tribes at the Royal Court Theatre.
