Following a sell out season at the Almeida Theatre, the critically acclaimed Hedda Gabler transfers to the Duke of York’s Theatre for a strictly limited 11 1/2 week season, from 19 May.

Arriving home for an extended honeymoon Hedda Gabler struggles with an existence that is, for her, devoid of excitement or enchantment. Filled with a passion that cannot be confined by her marriage or ‘perfect home’, Hedda strives to find a way to fulfil her desires by manipulating those around her.
