A chaotic evening of deception and confusion ensues on the day of that theatre first comes to Kazan. While some see it as a movement away from isolation others see it as an intrusion of all that is bad about the West.

First Theatre is presented alongside Dumb Cuckoo and Iron Pea by the Tatar National Theatre, the first professional theatre company of the Muslim world, which celebrates its centenary this year.

The production is performed in Tatar with Englsih translation, and is followed by traditional Tatar music and dance.
