Baby Jane is the deconstruction of a legend: fuelled by the cult1960s film Whatever Happened To Baby Jane, four performers fight to survive a menacing re-enactment of the film’s darker themes: isolation, impersonation, deception, starvation. Funny, furious and absurd, the performace lurches from gritty realism to outrageous slapstick.
