Game of Thrones star Stephen Dillane leads the cast of Brian Friel’s great play Faith Healer, portraying a man with an unreliable, extraordinary and dangerously provocative gift.

Frank Hardy travels across the most remote and forgotten corners of the British Isles, promising redemption to the sick and suffering at every encounter. But this dangerous calling invites conflict, and the path upon which Hardy sets out inevitably brings him into opposition with his wife, Grace, and manager, Teddy.  

Faith Healer powerfully represents their accounts of their lives together, memories of the past, and attempts to understand the power which lies at the heart of Frank’s ministry.

Also starring Gina McKee and Ron Cook, and directed by Olivier Award-winning director Lyndsey Turner on her return to the Donmar Warehouse, Faith Healer explores the potential of genius in an environment clouded by certainty of failure.
