Sadler’s Wells, George Piper Dances and a host of special guests unite to celebrate British dance favourite Darcey Bussell and her 20-year career for four performances only. Bussell, one of the world’s most celebrated dancers, is accompanied by guest stars, performing a mixed programme of works that includes pas de deux from William Forsythe In The Middle Somewhat Elevated and Christopher Wheeldon’s Tryst, and a complete performance of Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Winter Dreams.
The programme features Ballet Boyz, Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, a rare appearance from Jonathan Cope, and a stellar cast of guest dancers, including Tamara Rojo, Roberto Bolle and Edward Watson.
