Improbable’s Artistic Director Phelim McDermott returns to the London Coliseum to direct Mozart’s comic masterpiece.
Così Fan Tutte tells the story of two young men who disguise themselves and attempt to seduce each other’s girlfriend in order to test the virtue of their fiancées. The women succumb and virtue is crossed, causing lust and desire to be played out in a world in which the boundaries between what is real and what is make-believe are blurred.
McDermott, who returns following the recent success of Satyagraha and The Perfect American, directs a cast including Kate Valentine, Christine Rice and Roderick Williams.
This production is sung and surtitled in English.
