It is impossible to forget the fact that Myra is dying, but in the meantime life goes on. There are things to be done; boilers don’t fix themselves, the cats can’t serve their own dinner and the perfect funeral takes a lot of planning. As a mother explores the possibilities of death, her family must communicate with her and each other as they face up to what the future holds in store.
