Set at the end of the 20th century, Closer tells a story of lives colliding and fates changing in an instant as strangers become lovers and lovers become strangers. Dan rescues Alice. Anna photographs Dan. Larry meets Anna online. Alice rescues Larry.

The play, which took home the Olivier Award for Best New Play following its premiere in 1997, is directed by David Leveaux.
