Before Kate, Naomi and Claudia, Robyn Peterson was the model to watch. Spotted by Valentino on a beach in Florida, Peterson went to Paris aged 16 to model for some of the world’s top fashion houses, her face appearing on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.

In Catwalk Confidential, Peterson takes us back to those heady days as she recounts her arrival in Paris, fresh from Miami, and her years as a top model in the 1970s. Amid this whirlwind life of glamour, sex and drugs, the young Peterson discovers there is one thing to fear above all else – age – and that there is always a younger girl waiting to step into your shoes.

Catwalk Confidential premiered in Los Angeles and comes to London following a run at the Edinburgh Festival.
