Starring Darren Day, Michael Xavier and Jessica Martin, this special gala performance of Bumblescratch, a new sung-through musical comedy, is at the Adelphi Theatre for one night only.
Written by Robert J Sherman and set in London during the Great Plague of 1665 and the Great Fire of 1666, Bumblescratch is a demented, lascivious plague rat who demonstrates his unique, twisted love affair with the ancient city through marvellously gruesome tales.
Staged as a West End concert presentation with an all-star line-up, the performance takes place as part of commemorations for the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London, in aid of Variety, the children’s charity.
