Heroically, Jonathan sacifices himself to save his terminally sick younger brother Karl in a house fire. Soon after the boys are joined in the mythical afterlife they believed was just a fairytale – Nangiyala.

However, their beautiful new homeland of Cherry Valley is under threat from the evil Tengil, who has enslaved the fire-breathing monster, Katla and is using her to rule the neighbouring Wild Rose Valley.

The young Lionheart brothers must lead the villagers against the might of Tengil’s army to win their freedom. Only then do they discover that their journey is by no means over….
