Islington Community Theatre’s fearless company of young people explore the workings of the adolescent brain in Brainstorm, a play created by Ned Glasier, Emily Lim and the company.
Presented by Islington Community Theatre, the production was been created with leading cognitive neuroscientist Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore and draws upon the life experiences of the cast to explore the most frustrating, chaotic and exhilarating changes that will ever happen to us.
One of the UK’s leading companies making theatre with young people, Islington Community Theatre trains and supports a permanent ensemble of theatremakers aged between 11 and 19, all of whom are referred by teachers, youth workers or social workers as someone who will benefit from long-term involvement in the programme.
Brainstorm previously played at the Park Theatre.
