The BBC Concert Orchestra performs a special gospel concert for the launch of the Gospel According To Broadway. For The Gospel According to Broadway, the Harlem Gospel Ensemble, the London Community Choir and America’s Michael Terry Singers team up with the BBC Concert Orchestra in celebrating an exciting new anthology of the greatest hits of African American sacred music with a classical touch. Conceived and directed by Broadway Choral director/arranger Chapman Roberts, it features tributes to Paul Robeson, Marian Anderson, Mahalia Jackson and other world acclaimed gospel/spiritual composers and arrangers.
