A play devised by its company, Bay is staged at the Young Vic as part of the Genesis Directors Programme that aims to help emerging directors learn and gain invaluable experience.

Bay director Sarah Tipple recently directed Barbershopera at Theatre 503. Her work has focused primarily on new writing and devised projects and includes Mad Funny Just (Theatre 503), Red Handed (Union Theatre) and The Wrong Man (Pleasance Theatre). She has previously assisted at the Young Vic on The Member Of The Wedding, at the Almeida Theatre on Silent Twins and Enemies, and at the Hampstead Theatre on The Schumann Plan.

Bay is staged at the Young Vic as a Wilson Bros production.
