Following a hugely celebrated 2012 run, the Lyric and Filter co-production returns its raucous and riotous rebranding of the classic Shakespearean text A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the Lyric Hammersmith stage.

In an exciting and accessible reinvention of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays, music from members of the experimental band The London Snorkelling Team lends the classic tale of young lovers and the magical forces puppeteering them a fresh and irreverent twist.

Led by Olivier Dimsdale and Ferdy Roberts, and with direction from Sean Holmes and Stef O’Driscoll, a charming, playful and, above all, hilarious evening lies in store.
