A perennial favourite at the theatre in the park, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s best known, and best loved, comedies. Its mixture of confused lovers, enchantment and a man with the head of an ass endearing it to many a theatregoer.

There is a short moment which parents may wish to be aware of when considering the suitability of the production for younger audiences: the first meeting between Bottom and Titania is depicted as a highly charged intimate encounter in keeping with the contemporary style and physical nature of the production.
