Dawn French grapples with the big stuff of life as she brings her critically acclaimed solo show 30 Million Minutes to the Vaudeville Theatre.

Written by the French And Saunders star, the one-woman show promises delights, riches and the odd irksome tribulation as French takes audiences through the various lessons that life has taught her in the 30 million minutes (give or take a few minutes) of her existence.

With a sharp eye for comic detail and a wicked ear for the absurdities of life, French shares how she has misguidedly spent her whole life vigorously attempting to be a fully functioning female human.

Describing her show, the actress and comedian says: “It’s not a play, it’s not stand up, it’s not a monologue, it’s not a slide show, but it’s something a bit like all of those with some alarming extreme striptease thrown in.” She also warns: “Please don’t bother with it if you don’t usually enjoy yourself, it’s only for marvellous lovely people. All grumpy f******s should stay at home. Those of us who DO turn up, myself included, will share an evening we won’t forget in a hurry. I promise that.”

Best known for her comedy appearances in series including The Vicar Of Dibley, French returns to the West End having previously performed in productions including La Fille Du Régiment at the Royal Opera House.
