Joanna Vanderham, who alongside Andrew Scott and David Dawson stars in The Dazzle, has a special talent. It’s not causing theatre tickets to disappear faster than a startled roadrunner – she has done that too, though day seats are still available for the sold out show – it’s far more Old Testament.
The former star of sadly short-lived Australian convict drama Banished is a modern day Joseph, but without the Technicolor Dreamcoat. And the conspiring brothers.
It turns out that in addition to playing the striking Milly, who shakes up the world of two co-habiting American brothers in The Dazzle, Vanderham’s a dab hand at analysing dreams.
What else did we learn about Vanderham? Well, we found out why you might find her perched on an usher’s knee, why she avoids spotting the audience pre-show and… oh, just watch the video.
You can also see what she has to say about the show too.
The Dazzle plays at Found111 until 30 January. Tickets are sold out, but day seats are available.
