Stiles & Drewe’s acclaimed musical adaptation of Peter Pan will soar into the West End for one day only this autumn as the Adelphi Theatre hosts two concert performances of the family favourite.
Penned by the Olivier Award-winning duo behind musicals including Honk! and Mary Poppins, Peter Pan A Musical Adventure will play a matinee and evening performance on 25 October with the promise of a “spectacular cast” to be announced soon.
First seen at the Royal Festival Hall in 2001, when it starred the much-loved musical performers Laura Michelle Kelly, Jenna Russell and Sheila Hancock, the show will once again whisk audiences away to Neverland with its magical take on J M Barrie’s tale of the boy who never grows up and his adventures with the Darling children, the mischievous Lost Boys and the villainous Captain Hook.
The concert comes at a busy time for the hit writing collaborators as their latest family offering, The 3 Little Pigs, prepares for a summer season at the Palace Theatre from 5 August.
