The chance to meet the cast of Wicked, have a walk-on part in Jerusalem and sip champagne at the La Soirée after show party are among the experiences up for grabs as part of West End Lots, a new auction created to benefit theatrical charity Stage One.

Theatrical memorabilia including playtexts and posters signed by stars Vanessa Redgrave, Dominic West and Cameron Mackintosh are included in the auction, which opens for bidding from 10:00 on 4 November and runs until 24 February.

All proceeds from the auction go to Stage One, the charity committed to developing and supporting the next generation of theatre producers through bursaries, apprentice schemes, workshops and practical support. Among the recipients of previous Stage One bursaries and support are successful producers James Seabright, Eleanor Lloyd, Matthew Byam Shaw and Jamie Hendry.

By visiting auction.stageone.uk.com, lucky bidders can get their hands on an exclusive dance class with Dirty Dancing’s Johnny Castle, VIP tickets to the press night and party of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, starring David Suchet, or bid for the utterly unique chance to play a walk-on part in hit show Jerusalem alongside Mackenzie Crook and Mark Rylance. Signed illustrations by Crook, the Armani tie worn by Christian Slater in 2007 production Swimming With Sharks and a poster and playtext of this summer’s Much Ado About Nothing signed by David Tennant and Catherine Tate are also among the West End Lots.
