Shows revealed for Get Into London Theatre

Theatre fans delight! Our hugely popular new year ticket promotion Get Into London Theatre will return next month, offering incredible cut-price deals for more than 40 of London’s hottest productions.

From 8 December theatre lovers will be able to snap up a bargain, with tickets reduced to just £10, £20, £30 or £40 for a host of shows, from Olivier Award-winning musicals and critically acclaimed plays to some of the world’s best-loved operas. There will also be a priority booking period for MasterCard customers from 10:00 on 24 November.

The musicals taking part in this year’s Get Into London Theatre, which offers tickets for performances from 1 January to 12 February, include 2015’s big Olivier Award winners Sunny Afternoon and Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. They will be joined by much-loved long runners Matilda The Musical, Billy Elliot The Musical, Wicked, Les Misérables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Mamma Mia!, Thriller Live, Disney’s The Lion King, Jersey Boys and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, plus newcomers Bend It Like Beckham The Musical, In The Heights, Guys And Dolls, Close To You: Bacharach Reimagined and Shrek The Musical, the latter of which returns to the New Wimbledon Theatre for a limited run.

There will be an equally exciting array of plays on offer, with the National Theatre’s West End hits The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time and War Horse once again returning to the promotion. Other participating plays include The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, The Railway Children, The Woman In Black, Goodnight Mister Tom, the NT’s As You Like It and Evening At The Talk House, and the Royal Court’s Escaped Alone.

As well as some of the aforementioned shows for families, Get Into London Theatre also provides plenty of theatrical fun for children as The Gruffalo, The Tiger Who Came To Tea and The Lorax will also be offering amazing deals as part of the promotion.

For opera and dance fans there’s everything from Ellen Kent’s productions of Carmen and Tosca to Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty, English National Ballet’s Nutcracker and Le Corsaire, and the Royal Opera’s Tosca and La Traviata.

Completing the line-up are Michael Flatley’s Irish dance spectacular Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games, the Arts Theatre’s The Blues Brothers Xmas Special, immersive theatrical feast A Christmas Carol, the David Hasselhoff-led Last Night A DJ Saved My Life and festive panto Peter Pan.
